Food

Our access to a diverse range of food catering specialists enables us to deliver a variety of menus: east, west, or a fusion of both. What is certain is that there’ll be mouth-watering dishes, meticulous attention to detail and personal service all blended to create a perfect occasion. From the appetizers and starters to the main course, desserts and petit fours, your guests will be catered to in every way.

Administrative Support

Event Planning – Get as involved as you like—or leave it all to us. Event planning takes a lot of time—a luxury that our clients don’t always have. If you prefer, you can just tell us about your idea and vision and let us do the rest. We’ll get back to you with all the planning details for your consideration and approval, and then we’ll execute your exclusive event.

Communications Central - We’ll also serve as the main contact for everyone involved in the event and oversee the communications so you can focus on more important matters

How does it all work?
To make your life easier, we include everything that makes sense to include for a lovely meal in the city. We will match you with the perfect dining room, assign a personal host and driver to take you out to the restaurant, assist with translating the Chinese menu and recommend star dishes. All while you learn more about all the intricate flavours of Chinese food and how they are put together.

How much does a Personalized Food Trail cost?
The cost of a Food Trail is dependent on a number of factors, including the number of people in your group, the restaurant you dine at, and how we get to our dining room. As for the transportation, we can arrange for a rickshaw or your own private vehicle – it’s entirely up to you! To give you an honest idea of prices to expect, we have detailed below typical price ranges for the following Food Trails. Prices are all inclusive - your personal host and driver, drinks -- and your meal, of course!

How many people do I need to do a Personalized Food Trails excursion?
Just one! That said, the more the merrier. We get to sample more dishes whenever you have bigger group.

Can’t I find restaurants on my own?
What we do is provide unique access to special places dining rooms you’d find very difficult, if not impossible, to get to on your own.
It’s amazing culinary experiences and restaurants you won’t find in any guidebook or that your concierge can’t lead you to.
It’s about ddiscovering all the best restaurants in the city’s narrow alleyways, commercial districts and suburbs.
It’s about ordering the right dishes to weed out the excellent from the mediocre.

How do we get to our restaurant?
By foot. A rickshaw. A chauffeur-driven car. Whichever is most fun and practical.

Is it possible for Hias Gourmet to make arrangements for dining at non-Chinese restaurants?
Yes. We don’t discriminate and we love variety. In fact, there are some fabulous eateries we think you should absolutely try because they’re just too good to miss!

What if I have dietary restrictions?
Please let us know if you or anyone in your group has a dietary restriction. We will do our best to accommodate your special food requests.
