We offer dining itineraries for the food lover, solo hungry traveller, group on holiday or the corporate team on a business visit.

Hias Gourmet’s customised dining itineraries not only point you to the best restaurants in Beijing, they will also tell you which exceptional specialties you simply should not miss.

Independent Dining Itineraries

Hias Gourmet plans out your dining itinerary by recommending restaurants to try based on your individual interest and taste, providing you with a map locating the restaurant(s), opening hours for that day, and a personal reservation on your behalf (upon request).

Independent dining itineraries are not guided, giving you the freedom to explore Beijing’s culinary scene at your own pace. We also offer guided itineraries.

Guided Dining Itineraries

Guided dining itineraries provide unique access to dining rooms that are very difficult, if not impossible, to get to on your own.

We’ll match the perfect dining room for you and assign a private driver to pick you up at your hotel. Your host will be expecting you and, upon your arrival, will share bits of history, ingredients and recipes that culminate to create China’s diverse cuisine. All while you learn more about all the intricate flavours of Chinese food and how they’re put together.

How many people do I need to do a Personalized Food Itineraries excursion?
Just one! But the more the merrier. (You get to sample more dishes when you have a bigger group.) 

Couldn’t I find restaurants on my own?
Sure, but it just wouldn’t be the same. We provide unique access to dining rooms that you’d find very difficult, if not impossible, to get to on your own. We offer amazing culinary experiences and restaurants you won’t find in any guidebook or that your concierge can’t lead you to. It’s about discovering all the best restaurants in the city’s narrow alleyways, commercial districts and outlying suburbs. And it’s about ordering the right dishes to weed out the excellent from the mediocre. It’s about enjoying the whole experience!

Is it possible for Hias Gourmet to make arrangements for dining at non-Chinese restaurants?
Certainly. We don’t discriminate, and we love variety. In fact, there are some fabulous eateries we think you should absolutely try because they’re just too good to miss!

What if I have dietary restrictions?
Please let us know if you or anyone in your group has a dietary restriction. We’ll do our best to accommodate your special food requests.
